JDSU’s patented cage designs are used by leading networking companies to retain hot pluggable SFP transceivers. The press-fit and solder-down cages accommodate all SFP-MSA compliant transceivers, and are ideally suited for application on printed circuit board (PCB) with a minimum thickness of 0.062 inches. The excellent material memory characteristics provide high cage retention to the PCB, resulting in fewer field failures. JDSU connectors are industry leading for simplicity of use and mechanical robustness.
